Overview

The Quarterback provides the user with an Explorerä-like view of Lyric message and image assets. Navigation through the file system is accomplished with standard tree views of folders and selected folder contents. In addition to these familiar views, the Quarterback provides an additional pane that displays image thumbnails and unique mini-key-frame animation thumbnails of Lyric messages. As seen below, the upper-left “Folders” view will be referred to as the Folder Pane, the upper-right view of selected content as the File Pane, and the bottom view of image thumbnails and Lyric message previews as the “Thumbnail Pane”.

The Quarterback can connect to FTP servers allowing easy file transfer operations. This facility allows the user to connect with Chyron iNFiNiT!-family products to easily browse and move files from system to system.

The Quarterback can be used to preview AVI files. To preview Matrox clips on a system without a clip player a software only Codec needs to be installed. The Codec can be downloaded from www.matrox.com/video/support/ds/software/codec/home.cfm
