Flash Development Toolkit 3.4 Basic Settings

When Installed run the Flash Development Toolkit in Basic mode of operation

Select Options then new Settings

Select Device		:  H8S/2318F
Select Port		:  Port 1 (or whatever Port is to be used)
CPU Frequency		:  20.00000 Mhz 
Connection		:  Boot mode
Recommended Speed	:  38400
Protection		:  Automatic
Messaging		:  Advanced


Place the mvx card firmware in an appropriate folder

Launch Flash Development Toolkit in Basic mode

Place a check in the User Area check box

Ensure the Download radio button is selected and browse to the folder where the mvx card software is located

On the actual mvx card

Ensure jumper JP1 is made

Place the mvx card serial cable on the CON8 connector and PC

Fit the mvx card

Select Program Flash from the Flash Development Toolkit

Once the mvx card has been programmed the toolkit reports that the image has been written successfully

Select Disconnect

Remove JP1 link
