•The file extension is ".exe". If your operating system removes this extension during the download process, simply rename the file with this extension. •To place the DP571 into upgrade mode, press and hold three buttons: Shift, "right arrow" and Esc, for a few seconds and then release them. The unit will reboot. Press and hold the Setup button during the reboot cycle until the LCD displays "Ready to Load Esc to Abort." •The upgrade can be loaded through the front panel remote port using a standard computer RS232 connection and the upgrade/remote control cable included with the unit. You may request an upgrade cable here. •During the upgrade process, make certain that you see activity on both the computer display and the front panel LCD of the DP571. If there is no activity on the LCD, there is no communication between the computer and the DP571. Check your baud rate settings and the COM port selection and try again. •To perform a factory reset, hold the "Enter" button during a boot cycle and follow the prompts on the LCD. Be advised that a factory reset will clear all of your user presets, and you will need to re-enter these manually after performing this operation. •Issues addressed in this release: •The Audio Status bit in the PCM Delay Output has been set correctly. •Lo/Ro Surround level metadata settings now saved. •Internal PLL out of lock condition indicated by flashing of the front panel VRef LED.
