VistaLink PRO Launches provide a convenient method of launching an external application or http link without leaving the VistaLink PRO client application. Launches can be setup to provide quick access to such items as:
Third party control applications
Utility service applications
Product manuals
Product HTTP control interfaces
Internet links
To create a new Launch, use one of the two methods described below depending on wether it is a executable launch or an HTTP Launch.
HTTP (URL) Launches 
Ensure the Launches super-node is displayed (see
Tree Properties.)
Right click the Launches
node and select New -> Launch.
Provide a Name
for the new Launch and
enter the URL to have your default browser open when this Launch is accessed
and click OK.
Executable (.exe)
Launches
Ensure the Launches super-node is displayed (see
Tree Properties.)
Right click the Launches
node and select New -> Launch.
Provide a Name for the new Launch and use the Select button to browse to and select the executable (program) that will be run when this Launch is accessed.
Once new Launches have been created, they will appear in the Navigation Tree under the Launches super-node. To use a Launch right click the Launch node and select -> Launch.
The right click menu will also allow you to Edit or Delete the selected Launch node.
