Folders/Files description:

1) Kaleido Software V5.40\

This is the root folder of the Kaleido version 5.40 CD-ROM.  You will find in this folder the Readme.txt file and the installer of the Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0(rp500enu.exe).


2) Kaleido Software V5.40\doc

This folder contains the following documents:

	- Quick Start Manual (K2_Quick_start.pdf): Includes basic information to get the Kaleido-K2 up and running,
						   and to get prepared to configure and operate the system.
						   Includes all the installation instructions and wiring information.

	- Serial To TCP Dispatcher (Serial-To-TCP Dispatcher protocol.pdf): Includes API protocol of the Serial Dispatcher. The Serial Dispatcher application
					get serial commands from RS-422 or 232 and send it to one Kaleido or more.
					

	- User’s Manual  (Kaleido_Manual.pdf): The User’s Manual explains item by item software-related
					configuration and operation. This document is the same as the KEdit Online-help,
					it is just a printable version.

	- How To             (How_To.pdf): The How To is a manual which includes most of what you should know
					   to configure and operate the Kaleido-K2.

	- Hardware Manual    (Hardware Manual.pdf): The Hardware Manual explains item by item hardware related
						    configuration and operation.

	- Mezzanine Manual   (Mezzanine Manual.pdf): The Mezzanine Manual explains item by item hardware related
						     configuration and operation.

	- GatewayGui manual  (GatewayGui_application_description.pdf): Includes information about the GatewayGui application.

	- Release note       (Kaleido Software V5.40 - Release Note.pdf): Read the release note carefully.
						 It includes a listing of the new features, known issues, 
						 compatibility issues with other hardware and Q & A.



3) Kaleido Software V5.40\drivers

This folder contains the drivers needed by a Kaleido-K2 system.
Those drivers are already installed on your Kaleido-K2, but are given for reference.
	
	- ASUS GeForce FX5200: Driver for the ASUS GeForce FX5200 graphic card
	- ATI Radeon 7500: Driver for the ATI Radeon 7500 graphic card
	- DirectX 8.1: Installer for DirectX 8.1.
	- Matrox Parhelia: Driver for the Matrox Parhelia graphic card.
	- Sapphire Radeon 7500: Driver for the Sapphire Radeon 7500 graphic card.

4) Kaleido Software V5.40\KaleidoFull

This folder contains the full installer of the Kaleido software 5.40.
Refer to the K2_Quick_start.pdf document for installation instructions.


5) Kaleido Software V5.40\KEditFull

This folder contains the full installer of the Kaleido Layout Editor (KEdit) software 5.40.
Refer to the K2_Quick_start.pdf document for installation instructions.


6) Kaleido Software V5.40\Layouts

This folder contains the default layouts provided with the Kaleido-K2.
You have two folders:
	- Single-Head: Contains the default layouts for single-head systems.
	- Dual-Head: Contains the default layouts for dual-head systems.

If you want to use those layouts on your Kaleido-K2, just copy them in the c:\iControl\Startup\KALEIDO LAYOUTS folder of your Kaleido-K2.
Note that this will replace the existing layouts.


7) Kaleido Software V5.40\Options

This folder contains the Kaleido options pack to be used with your new Kaleido software version 5.40.
For Kaleido 5.40, the Options folder contains the installer of the Serial-To-TCP Dispatcher, TSL, Thomson-Andromeda service for dynamic UMDs/TextLabels and the Synergy.
Refer to the K2_Quick_start.pdf document for installation instructions.


8) Kaleido Software V5.40\SNMP

This folder contains the MIBs supported by the Kaleido-K2 version 5.40 for SNMP traps.


Read the release note, the Manual and the quick start guide before installing your new Kaleido software version 5.40.
