Description of the folders and files:

1) \

This is the root folder of the Kaleido-Alto version 3.31 CD-ROM.
This folder includes the ReadMeFirst.txt file (this file), as well as the installer and an updated online documentation set for the Kaleido Layout Editor (KEdit) software version 5.40.
To install KEdit, open KEditSetup  5_40_148.exe and follow the on-screen instructions.
To install KEdit's updated documentation set, open KEditOnlineHelpUpdate.exe. The new documentation will overwrite the older file set in the existing KEdit installation directory.
An installer for Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 (rp500enu.exe) is also included.


2) Kaleido-Alto-Quad V3.31\Doc

This folder contains the Kaleido-Alto/Quad/Quad-Dual release notes, as well as software and installation manuals, in PDF format.


3) Kaleido-Alto-Quad V3.31\Alto Factory Layouts

This folder contains predefined Kaleido-Alto layouts, channels and alarms.
These files are in a proprietary binary format suitable for the KEdit software, and are shipped as a self-extractable ZIP file.

4) Kaleido-Alto-Quad V3.31\Quad Factory Layouts

This folder contains predefined Kaleido-Quad layouts, channels and alarms.
These files are in a proprietary binary format suitable for the KEdit software, and are shipped as a self-extractable ZIP file.

5) Kaleido-Alto-Quad V3.31\Resolutions

This folder contains resolution definition files for your Kaleido-Alto/Quad/Quad-Dual unit(s).

This folder contains predefined channels and alarms for Kaleido-Alto/Quad cascade systems.
These files are in a proprietary binary format suitable for the KEdit software, and are shipped as a self-extractable ZIP file.
