Upgrade Procedure
-----------------

Normally, a new version of the main application (rvonio.bib) would be installed 
simply by  downloading it from RVONedit.  However, it may occassionally be 
necessary to replace the boot code (adam2EB.bin) and/or the onboard utilities, 
which requires the use of the RVONFILE utility.

If corrupt Ethernet link configuration settings are detected, the card now 
defaults to auto-negotiate mode.  Previously, the card would be forced into 
10Mbps, half duplex, but if the switch to which the card is connected was fixed 
at 100Mbps, full duplex, then the card would not be able to create an Ethernet 
link.

If the RVON-IO DIP switch was changed from Remote mode to Local mode, any
channels configured with a destination type of RVON-1 (type 1) would be 
disabled, and any re-enabling would be ignored after the next reset.

Pass-through serial statistics are collected and can be queried using the 
GUI protocol or displayed from Telnet (show ptstat).
