KENWOOD MEMORY CONTROL PROGRAM MCP-2000 Version 0.00 Beta INTRODUCTION - This program is for editing "Memory Channels" and various settings on the KENWOOD amateur radio TS-2000(X)/B2000. - This program runs on Windows 95 or Windows 98(*1). - About 1M bytes of free space on the hard disk is needed to install this program. - At least 5MB of memory is required to run this program. - To write to or read from the TS-2000(X)/B2000 memory, a separate serial cable (NON MODEM) is required. - Before connecting the TS-2000(X)/B2000 to a PC, first turn the TS-2000(X)/B2000 power OFF. - The latest version of this program can be obtained over the Internet from http://www.kenwood.net/. - Permission is required if this program is to be redistributed on individuals' web site. - Any user may not be engaged in the following acts: To revise, change, edit, merge, de-compile or reverse engineer the Software. - THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCTS SHALL NOT WARRANT THE APPLICABILITY TO THE PURPOSE OF ANY USER. Copy M2000b1.EXE to the directory in which you want to install the program. 2. Execute M2000b1.EXE. The following programs are automatically created: MCP_2000.EXE 3. Start the program by executing MCP_2000.EXE UNINSTALLATION 1. Delete the entire directory to which the following files have been copied: MCP_2000.EXE 2. You can also use short-cut commands to delete the directory if it was made using short-cut commands. 3. Delete "Software" "KENWOOD" from "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" by Regedit command. However, delete only "MCP-2000" under "KENWOOD" when other MCPs are installed. Carefully carry out registry operations taking care not to delete other registry data. If you are unsure of registry operations, no problems will occur if you do not delete files.
