About BZR-20 BZR-20 is a setup data backup program for the Sony Routing Switcher System. BZR-20 can be used for the following events. - Sending setup data after the device exchange. - Sending setup data after the battery exchange. - Returning the setup of the remote control panel having changed during practice. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Requirements BZR-20 can be used with an IBM PC/AT-compatible computer on which Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows XP is installed. 2.1. Software OS (Operating System): Windows 2000 Professional Edition Windows XP Professional Edition 2.2. Hardware CPU: Intel Pentium Processor or compatible processor from another manufacturer. (Only a single-processor CPU) CPU clock speed: Clock speed of 233 MHz or higher is recommended. Main memory: 128 MB or higher Free space of the hard disk: 10 MB or more Serial interface: RS-232C / 38400 bps The cable for RS-232C and a COM port of the computer are needed. And a COM port needs to be connected to the primary by a cable. Network interface: Ethernet with the transmission rate of 10BASE-T or higher. You need connect the Ethernet port of the computer and the primary station using a cross cable (only Single Primary Station System) or straight cable via the hub. Display device: Resolution 800x600 pixels or higher. Pointing device: Mouse or equivalent pointing device * Limitation of Windows 2000 An IntelliMouse pointing device cannot be used. 2.3. Installation 1) If you have installed an old version of BZR-20, uninstall it. In addition, to erase BZR-20 completely, delete the folder in which an executable file exists after uninstalling it. (Reference) When installing with the default settings, each executable file is in the following folders. - BZR-20 C:\Program Files\SONY_BP\BZR20V3 The place installed by the default setting in the version of V3.10 or more is different from the version of V2.11 or less. 2) Copy all the distribution files to an empty floppy disk or temporary directory (for example C:\TEMP). 3) Run SETUP.EXE and follow the instruction given by it. 4) After the installation, the distribution files are no longer needed. You can delete them. 5) Installation is finished if BZR-20 dialog appears on the desktop, when BZR-20 can start up. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. BZR-20 Start-ups and a help facility When BZR-20 starts up, BZR-20 dialog appears on the desktop.
