Select Tools on the Menu bar, "Internet Options," then the General page.
Click the Settings button under "Temporary Internet files." The Settings window opens.
Select "Every time you start Internet Explorer" under "Check for newer versions of the stored page."
Set "Amount of disk space to user" under "Temporary Internet files folder" to maximum
(set the slider to the rightmost position).
Click the OK button to close the window.
(2) Checking the NIC (Network Interface Card) settings:
Open the "Network Connections" window from the Windows Start menu.
For details, refer Windows Help.
Right-click the "Local Area Connections xx" icon (xx: number) and select "Properties" from the shortcut menu.
The "Local Area Connection Properties" window opens.
Select the General page and click the Configure button.
The "NIC Properties" window opens.
Select the Advanced page and set the items shown below to "Off" or "Disabled."
- Checksum Offload
- Large Send Offload
- TCP Segmentation Offload
etc
These items are for inserting additional data for packet transmission on the network.
Set all of them to be disabled.
Click the OK button to close the window.
