Installing the BZPS-8001 Software for the First Time for Offline Use

To build a system for offline manipulation of switcher setting data, install just the BZPS-8001 software on a client computer.
In this case, install the following two items of software in this sequence.

JRE (Java Runtime Environment) 1.5.0_12	Client folder of the CD-ROM holding the BZPS-8000 software
BZPS-8001	CD-ROM holding the BZPS-8001 software

Installing the JRE (Java Runtime Environment)

1. Insert the CD-ROM holding the BZPS-8000 software into the computer's disc drive.
   
   
2. Open the Client folder within the CD-ROM, and double-click "j2re-1_5_0_12-windows-i586-i.exe."
   
   The InstallShield Wizard dialog box opens, and a License Agreement window appears.
   
   
   
   
3. If you agree with the license terms, click the Yes button.
   
   The window now shows the Setup Type.
   
   
   
   
4. Select Typical, and click the Next button.
   
   This carries out the installation.
   
   

Installing the BZPS-8001 software

1. Insert the CD-ROM holding the BZPS-8001 software into the computer's disc drive.
   
   
2. Within the CD-ROM, double-click "setup8001.exe."
   
   The BZPS-8001 SONY Switcher Setup Software dialog box appears.
   
   
   
   
3. Click the Next button.
   
   This carries out the installation.
   When the installation is completed, the Finish button becomes active.
   
   
   
   
4. Click the Finish button to end the installation.
