Uninstalling System Manager on the Server

To uninstall System Manager on the server, proceed as follows.
  1. Log in as root.

    When GUI has not started, type "startx".

  2. When the operating system of the server PC is Red Hat Enterprise Linux V5,6, select the menus in the order of: System > Apprications > System Tools > Terminal.

    When the operating system of the server PC is except Red Hat Enterprise Linux V5,6, click the main menu icon (Red Hat) at the lower left of the screen, and select System Tools, Terminal.

    A terminal window opens.



  3. After the command prompt, enter the command "rpm -e SysmgServer", and press the Enter key.

    This carries out uninstallation of the System Manager software.

  4. After the command prompt, enter the command "rpm -e jre", and press the Enter key.

    This carries out uninstallation of the JRE software.

  5. After the command prompt, enter the command "rm -rf /usr/sysmg", and press the Enter key.

    This carries out delete the sysmg directory.
