Setting Up Red Hat Linux

Proceed as follows.

1. Log in as root.
   
   When GUI has not started, type "startx".
   
   
2. Open a terminal window.
   
   
3. Input the command "system-config-network", and press the Enter key.
   Network configuration menu is displayed.
   
   
4. Select the "Device configuration".
   
   
   
   
5. Select the "em1 (em1) - xxx".
   
   
   
   
6. Input the "Static IP" and "Netmask", and select "OK".
   
   
   
   
7. Select the "em2 (em2) - xxx".
   
   
8. Input the IP address 10.129.8.1 for the "Static IP"
   and input the net mask 255.192.0.0 for the "Netmask",
   and select "OK".
   
   
   
   
9. Select the "Save".
   
   
   
   
10. Select the menus in the order of: System > Shut Down.
    
    
11. Select Restart the computer.
