A typical Network Management System (NMS) consists of a PC (running the VistaLINK™ PRO Server and/or Client software), a network connection, either through a hub with network cables or directly to the “Agent” (the 7700/500/3000FC VistaLINK™ Frame Controller), which in turn communicates with the VistaLINK™-enabled modules in a 7700/500/3000FR-C frame.

Configure the 7700FC VistaLINK™ Frame Controller
to be monitored with appropriate network settings to communicate with
the PC running VistaLINK™ PRO.
Install VistaLINK™ PRO Server and/or Client on
the same or multiple PCs.

VistaLINK™ PRO Help.
Install Network/Service Client View or Monitoring
Grid Client View.
Set
administrative privileges, operator passwords and access rights.
Configure automated frame and product
discovery cycles.
Configure VistaLINK™-enabled modules.
Configuring alarm properties including alarm severity,
email notifications, sounds, etc.
Generate “service” views through the Service Wizard or display a virtual wall “Monitoring Grid” view.
